Re: Insurance Billing for Functional Nutrition Lab Tests
To Whom It May Concern,
I recommend the following tests to assist me in supporting our shared client/patient.
These lab tests are helpful to me in detemining proper dietary, lifestyle and nutraceutical recommendations.
Since I do not conduct billing through health insurance to cover the cost of lab testing, when lab testing might coincide with a medical diagnosis, I recommend my clients discuss ordering the lab tests through their medical doctors so that insurance can cover the cost.
1. Comprehensive Blood Chemistry Panel
2. Stool Test - Digestive Testing
I work with the GI-MAP stool test from Diagnostic Solutions More info here: https://www.diagnosticsolutionslab.com
White Paper on the GI MAP is available here.
3. MRT Food Sensitivity Testing
The MRT test can be ordered through Oxford Biomedical technologies. More info here: https://nowleap.com/the-patented-mediator-release-test-mrt/
Thank you. Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss in more detail.
